What’s your favorite Thanksgiving pie? Apple…Pumpkin… How about Pizza Pie? Please join Bert Johnson (President of Delaware Valley Food Pantry) and Evy Inoue on November 7 at Liberty Hall Pizza from 5 pm-9 pm to help support the Delaware Valley Food Pantry this Thanksgiving.
Chris Bryan, master Liberty Hall pizzaiolo, will debut a special Thanksgiving pizza pie featuring country herb turkey sausage, wild mushrooms, cornbread stuffing, candied yams, and a drizzle of cranberry relish sauce. It will be available from Thursday, November 7th through the end of November with proceeds donated to the food pantry. In addition, Liberty Hall will have their full menu of pizza, salads, and desserts and will donate a portion of the proceeds collected that night to anyone who mentions that they are there to support the food pantry.
Bert and Evy will be Guest Pizzaiolos (pizzamakers). Their goal is to help raise money and awareness of DVFP whose mission is to provide food for all those in need in our area. Bert and Evy are thrilled to be working with Chris Bryan, Danny Popkin, and Liberty Hall Pizza and want to thank the Lambertville and New Hope community whose generosity keeps the Delaware Valley Food Pantry open.
In addition, folks can drop off canned goods and non-perishable donations for the food pantry in a large bin in the building lobby all month long. For the holidays, the pantry can especially use canned peas, sweet potatoes, turkey gravy, and boxes of stuffing.
